Wow, time flies! We are about to start the sixth semester at Camp School of Visual Effects and Animation here in Istanbul. From one course, couple of students and myself as the only instructor, we steadily grew to seven courses, couple more top of the line instructors and maybe more importantly more and more eager, talented students. We intend to go on this way to make Camp the premier visual effects school on this side of the planet. We are planning on adding more courses to have a more complete program for students that crave visual effects and animation. I will be doing a workshop on “Visual Effects for Motion Pictures” as part of the “Canlandıranlar Talent Camp” which is a project being done within “İstanbul European Capital of Culture 2010 Festivities”. The Workshop which will be held at İstanbul Bilgi University Santralİstanbul Campus, will concentrate on various stages of visual effects production from a 3D and 2D computer graphics perspective.
